Through Missouri
A day of driving though verdant Missouri, including a visit to the world's biggest rocking chair

...and here are the rather camp James boys, looking like they've been caught in a Brokeback Mountain situation, hence Christopher's expression. Meramac Caverns is also claimed to be the home of the bumper sticker, but the current regime do not seem to promote this anywhere, for shame!
After this it was off to St Louis, where a night in the city was sacrificed for watching the BBC's election coverage via the US news channel CSPAN's website, on a screen no bigger than a post-it note. Lincoln-land tomorrow!
