Oooooooooklahoma

Fiona reporting from the road. Another day of driving, so there was plenty of singing in the car, which has been captured on video for those interested - but viewing will not be compulsory. Other in car entertainment include the daily playlist including any artist from the current state, songs that reference the state or the other road songs carefully chosen by Christopher. We also have dowloads of our favorite radio programmes, and through the power of itunes we can download topical comedy programs currently being boradcast so we can still enjoy the election related satire. Christopher has also discovered that the iplayer streams live radio in other countries and so we will not be missing out come election day - at least we only have to stay up till 10pm!

Some of our stops today included a park where a piece of the Blarney Stone had been exported, for us to kiss. I enjoyed some of the swings.

We also visited the second largest cross in the western hemisphere which was astounding. It is 190 ft high, surrounded by various other smaller religious statues in Groom, Texas.

There was also a smaller version of the cadillac ranch - the volkswagon beetle ranch! About 5 beetles were half buried in the ground.

Now we are in Oklahoma and resting before another big driving day tomorrow. It is really hot now, but the scenery is still variable with lots of fun stops.
